Collection & Delivery

This Policy forms part of the Naxlav Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

Collection or Delivery is linked to what you order, where you want it delivered or collected and how you choose to pay.

Certain products require additional lead time before being ready for collection or dispatch as they may need to be backordered for you. You should see a notice on the product page for such items indicating the additional delay such process may cause.

Once payment is confirmed you will receive a payment confirmation e-mail which should include ETA information. If collection or tracking confirmation is not included your order may contain backorder goods (See product/order page) and/or we may be waiting for payment(s) to fully clear before booking the delivery or releasing the ready to collect message.

Business days are defined as Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

Collection:

Collection from our address is available at no charge, however, collection will only be possible if it was selected at checkout. If delivery was selected, the order cannot be collected. You may contact us for requests regarding possible changes to your order in this regard.

No goods will be released until payment clears with our payment partner or into our bank account if applicable.

Delivery:

We offer delivery services in partnership with courier companies. Please note that we do not currently deliver outside the borders of South Africa.

The following will determine your delivery cost:

  • Value of goods ordered;
  • Weight and Size of goods ordered; and
  • Location of the delivery address you provided during registration and/or checkout;
      • Deliveries to remote/rural areas may increase the quote amount.

The delivery cost will be quoted if selected during the cart checkout process, however, if collection was selected, the order cannot be delivered. You may contact us for requests regarding possible changes to your order in this regard.

Remote Area:

3 – 7 Business Days (Backorder Goods require additional lead time before dispatch – stated on product page)

The countdown in terms of the delivery period begins once your payment has been authorised. For credit cards this means that once the bank gives us an authorisation code. For cash deposits and Internet transfers this means once the funds reflect in our bank account. For cheque deposits, this means once the funds have been cleared, which is usually only 7 days after the deposit.

Once we’ve picked your stock and received your backorder goods(if applicable) from our suppliers, we’ll book the delivery service and send you an e-mail with tracking details. If in doubt, contact us.
